Otters are mammals with grey long hair. Underneath Otters long hair is shorter hair which serves to keep them dry in the water.

Most of them have webbed feet with claws. There are two types of otters, river otters and sea otters.

Otters are very social animals. A group of otters is called a raft. Otters are also nocturnal animals and hunt at night.

Otters eat mostly fish, but also will eat frogs, crayfish and crabs.  Some even eat birds and small mammals when given the opportunity. Otters are carnivorous animals.
